Delta Production Prioritization Update

On June 8th, 2021, Delta made the difficult decision to prioritize production for strategic collections and finishes in all brands and temporarily pause production for all other collections and finishes across all channels. Since the initiation of Delta’s production prioritization, there have been a number of updates made to Delta's tools as well as to their active offering of prioritized products. These updates include:

• Despite the initial communication stating that paused products would be removed from the electronic price file, Delta has been able to ensure all products remain visible. The electronic price file now contains all of Delta’s offered products, including a new status column (Column E) which shows whether a product is ‘Active’ or ‘Paused’.

• Several products are no longer paused and have been reactivated. These products are included in the new price file that was published on June 17th. The primary reactivations include:

  • A select offering of Peerless® Core tub/shower trims

  • A select offering of Peerless Core bath and kitchen faucets

  • Peerless Xander® robe hooks

  • Delta® Modern bath collection accessories – Contemporary, Angular and Curved (IAO model numbers)

• Delta’s 2021 Priority Collections Matrix did not effectively address some product categories like pot fillers, glass rinsers, and air switches. The 2021 Priority Collections Matrix has been updated to include these additional categories, as well as the aforementioned products that have been reactivated over the past week.

Although Delta does not expect many modifications to the current paused offering over the next few months, there may be some reactivations to fulfill business critical needs. When these reactivations occur, Mid-America Sales will communicate these changes and provide an updated electronic price file.
