ThermOmegaTech
ThermOmegaTech® has over three decades of experience in the design and manufacture of valves for freeze and scald protection, mixing and diverting, steam traps, ambient temperature control, surface sensing applications, and custom designed valves. The company’s valves protect billions of dollars of rail equipment each year, and can be found in hotels and condominiums, commercial dishwashers, boiler systems, commercial laundries, safety showers and eyewash stations, thermal solar panels, and more. ThermOmegaTech®’s experience in a multitude of industries has resulted in creative valve solutions for a wide gamut of industry applications, including:
Resources
STVM Washdown Station
The STVM Washdown Station delivers a high temperature wash at a user-defined temperature using our proprietary mixing valve to combine steam and water. Our Silent Type Venturi Mixing Valve (STVM) design is self-scouring to minimize mineral buildup and reduce maintenance frequency. The station utilizes a simple cartridge design which can be removed with a wrench and cleaned in a descaling solution before reassembly. The station is in-line serviceable, so the operator simply switches out the cartridge with a spare and the unit is back up and running in minutes, significantly reducing downtime.
DTV Installation
We went to Insinger Machine Company in Philadelphia to see how they install our DTV drain tempering valve on their commercial dishwashers. Chief Engineer Jim Bittner guides us through the easy installation into their drain and Paul Driscoll explains the benefits of using our valve.
Therm-O-Mix Station
The Therm-O-Mix Station instantly delivers tepid water to emergency safety showers and eyewash stations, using only a facility’s existing steam and water supplies. The unit is completely mechanical and requires no outside electricity or air to function, making it particularly ideal for explosion-proof industrial environments.
Emergency Safety Shower Water Heater
The ESS water heater is a packaged system designed to meet the requirements of ANSI Z358.1-2014 for tepid water delivery to an emergency drench system. This heavy-duty water heater is constructed of a carbon steel tank and internally lined with 1/2″ thick Hydrastone cement to ensure tank longevity when operating at elevated temperatures, and is fully insulated with 3″ thick polyurethane foam to minimize stand-by heat loss.
