Ensuring Bradford White Brute Mini (BJX) Orifice Angle & Height Are Correct

Every Bradford White Brute Mini (BJX) unit is shipped with a Mini Air Shutter Gauge. This gauge must be used to adjust the air shutter depth and orifice height/angle, as described in the installation and operating manual.

During propane field conversion, it is important to maintain the proper orifice angle and height when all main orifices are being replaced. If the orifice angle and height are not adjusted properly, flame noise and/or flame at the orifice can occur.
